Almería Fair 2026 Full Program: Tradition and Cultural Events
The city of Almería celebrates its traditional annual fair from August 21 to 29, 2026. The event brings together residents and visitors with a rich program of sports, music, and cultural celebrations throughout the city center.
Highlights of the Cultural and Festive Program
The celebrations kick off officially with the proclamation by Diego Ferrón, founder of the Cooltural Fest. Over the nine days of festivities, the program includes moments of strong local tradition, such as the Battle of Flowers, the proclamation of the Virgin of the Sea — to be led by David Bisbal — and the traditional festive atmosphere of the "feria del mediodía."
For those seeking cultural activities, the Centro de Interpretación Patrimonial (CIP) hosts the exhibition "La indumentaria almeriense en la historia," while the Palacio de los Marqueses de Cabra features the Cultural Exhibition of Fair Giants. Music also has its place with the Cooltural Fest 2026 (Music for all) at the Recinto de Conciertos del Ferial and the orchestras performing at the Municipal Booth.
Sports and Outdoor Activities
The 2026 calendar includes various sports competitions across the municipality. Among the present disciplines, the following stand out:
- Fencing: Feria Fencing Tournament at the Palacio de los Juegos Mediterráneos.
- Basketball: XVII Diverbasket 3x3 Tournament at the Pabellón de Los Ángeles.

- Weightlifting: VIII Feria Weightlifting Trophy.
- Golf: XX Almería Fair Golf Tournament at the Club de Golf Alborán.

- Orienteering: Andarax Park Orienteering Games.
In addition to the competitions, the program includes the traditional Flowered Dianas and Charanga parades through the Casco Antiguo, and the closing of the new entrance to the fair at the Recinto Ferial.
